Jane Ann E. Whitchurch focuses her practice in commercial and general liability litigation in state and federal district court. She has garnered significant civil litigation experience over the last twenty-five years having defended national insurance companies, a large national rideshare company, self-insureds, product manufacturers, public utilities, public entities and private clients in connection with significant and catastrophic personal injury and product liability cases through trial and has also represented clients in connection with commercial, construction-defect and employment related matters. She served numerous times as an arbitrator in connection with UM/UIM matters on behalf of a large national insurance company and has represented various national insurance carriers in connection with SIU matters. Jane Ann was also previously tasked with managing all family law matters as well as the defense of all workers’ compensation matters on behalf of a large NJ trucking company at a mid-size firm prior to joining Lamb Kretzer LLC.

She is admitted to the bar of the State of New Jersey since 1996, the bar of the State of New York and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the New Jersey Defense Association, the Bergen County Bar Association, Women Lawyers in Bergen County, New Jersey Planning Officials and is a former member of the Hudson and Passaic County Bar Associations’ Inns of Court.

While attending Douglass College, Rutgers University, where she earned a B.A. in Political Science and English, Jane Ann was selected for the English Honors Program and earned a Spanish Language Certificate. At New York Law School, she was a writer and editor for two law school textbooks on remedies and environmental law authored by Professor David Schoenbrod. Jane Ann also co-authored a chapter on products liability in the Matthew Bender® legal publication, “Doing Business in the United States” (1995.) After earning her Juris Doctor in 1995, Jane Ann was a legal consultant to the marketing department at Oppenheimer Funds, Inc. in New York City before entering private practice. She is a past Vice-Chairperson of the Woodcliff Lake PFA, past volunteer catechist at her parish and former member of the New York City Junior League. Jane Ann recently served as a guest-lecturer at Montclair University Feliciano School of Business, is on the Board of the National Athletic Honor Society and has been the Vice Chairperson of the Woodcliff Lake Planning Board since 2017.
